About Us
We are a fourth generation farming family business, established in 1891. The whole family is involved in the business. Mum, Jan is still in charge of the farming at Moss Bank and often delivers orders locally. Anne and Chris Forster are the principals running the meat side.
Jack, our son is 20 years old 6'1" tall and nineteen stone plus, he has played prop forward for Lancashire, North of England and England U16, U18, U19, U20 and recently England Saxons Rugby Union. A finer advert for Organic Beef you couldn't meet! He intends to join the business eventually. At the moment he is studying for an Agricultural Degree at Hartpury College in Gloucestershire.
He went to get experience with Gloucester Rugby Club, and has done so well that he was given a contract to play Rugby, he starts his second two year contract this July. Due to injuries with other prop forwards Jack was given the chance to play for the Premiership team. This was a fantastic opportunity for someone so young.
He has just completed his second season at Gloucester having played more matches for the first team. The pinnacle of his career was on 2nd June this year when he played for the England Saxons team at Twickenham which lifted the Churchill Cup from New Zealand Maori!
