We decided to register our land with the Soil Association, as we believe that because they demand high standards of both animal and land management, you, our customers can be guaranteed an organic product of great integrity and quality. Our cattle and sheep are reared naturally on grass from meadows of permanent pasture. This non G.M. diet, without hormones or re-cycled proteins, together with the highest standards of animal welfare, ensures a quality product of which we are very proud.
Emphasis is placed on the natural rearing and weaning of young stock by the mother. All breeding cattle kept to produce Organic Calves must be from proven BSE-free herds. No cattle from an organic herd have ever been a victim to BSE.

Our beef is specially selected, and traditionally hung for up to three weeks to enhance natural flavour and tenderness. We have a unique product, being one of the very few producers of 100% Soil Association certified organic beef and lamb in the North West of England.

We have our own butchery on the farm. You can be assured that we are fanatical about the quality of preparation and trimming. You would need to go a long way to find anyone else with such an intimate knowledge of the meat they were preparing. If you would like the opportunity to become one of our valued customers and experience the taste of organically reared beef and lamb please use the contact page to place your order, or for further details please don't hesitate to ring us. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding our animals, our products or the benefits of organic food in general. The quality of our products and the satisfaction of our customers are our main concern.
